Public Events
Denali Education Center hosts a collection of public events that promote the arts and sciences; featuring artists, naturalists, musicians, yoga teachers, authors, workshops, lectures, films, and educational programs. These events are meant to inspire personal discovery, creativity, and intellectual inquiry. Public events take place in the summer season in Denali, and year-round at our Talkeetna campus.
Many of our public events are free or donation-based, and they highlight the incredible talent, diversity, and depth of knowledge in our small gateway community. Programs are held in the heart of our Denali campus, the Charles Sheldon Center – a post-and-beam building that was constructed, and has been maintained, with countless hours of volunteer effort. Talkeetna programs are held in the Susitna Hall, formerly the Northern Susitna Institute.
To stay up-to-date on all our offerings, subscribe to our Community Update, and receive information on local events. Updates are emailed weekly during the summer months and sporadically in the winter.
Are you interested in hosting an event in Denali or Talkeetna? Call us at 907-683-2597 or email events@denali.org for more information.
