The Denali Education Center depends on volunteers to help care for our campus, host the Annual Auction, support participants in the field, and much more!
VOLUNTEER DAY – June 23, 2018
On Volunteer Days, people from throughout the community lend a hand with campus improvement projects. Individuals and community groups contribute greatly to our campus and programs throughout the summer.
Last summer we had a wonderful Volunteer Day full of camaraderie, projects, and fun! On the docket our tasks ranged from trail building to painting; gardening to window-washing. After a day of toiling over our assigned tasks, a hearty lunch was served and the campus looked wonderful! We look forward to seeing you all again June 23 at 10 am for our next Volunteer Day!

COME VOLUNTEER!
Each summer Denali Education Center seeks volunteers to act as hike sweeps for our residential program hikes. We offer hikes for residential program participants most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Volunteers help with these hikes for safety reasons, to add to the enjoyment of the group, and to learn from our field educators.
Volunteer hike sweeps walk at the end of the group to make sure that no one is left behind and to provide company and encouragement to participants. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with the Denali Education Center and to get to know some interesting people.
If you are interested in volunteering as a hike sweep please email roadscholarprograms@denali.org or call 907-683-2597.
