Denali Discovery Camp instructors will assist with leading educational hikes, creating engaging hands-on learning activities, and leading overnight camping trips in Denali National Park.  Duties include working collaboratively with a team of instructors, supervising up to 10 youth in an outdoor setting, and creating a safe learning environment for campers to explore and connect with the outside world. Talkeetna Discovery Camp instructors will assist with leading educational hikes, creating engaging hands-on learning activities, and engaging with the Talkeetna community during camp weeks.  Duties include working collaboratively with a team of instructors, supervising up to 10 youth in an outdoor setting, and creating a safe learning environment for campers to explore and connect with the outside world. Volunteer

We welcome Volunteers at Denali Education Center anytime! We’d love to have you if you’re interested in sweeping a hike, hauling gravel, gardening, working our fundraising events, or any other tasks.

Founded in 1989, the Denali Education Center is a non-advocacy, for-purpose organization and a proud partner of Denali National Park and Preserve. Our mission is to promote understanding and appreciation of Denali through fun, informative, and inspiring programs.

Denali Education Center, through our park partnership and in cooperation with various organizations across Alaska, hosts residential, youth, and affinity group programs that explore Denali’s wilderness.  We welcome and encourage people from all backgrounds and lived experiences to join our team!
