	Residential Programs

The Denali Education Center offers a variety of educational programs for visitors and locals of all ages. We offer programs that are thematically based, seamlessly blending scholastic content with outdoor activities. Our hope is to give those participating in any of our programs a greater understanding of life in the Denali bioregion and the challenge of both using and preserving wilderness. International Wolf Center: Denali Discovery: A partner program with the International Wolf Center that provides a week of learning about the wolves of Denali and their wild community.

Wilderness Leadership Education: Spend eleven days in the wilderness of Denali State Park during this field-based course which follows the curriculum of the Wilderness Steward Program (WSP) of the Wilderness Education Association (WEA).

Elderhostel (aka Road Scholar) Programs: The Denali Education Center provides a wide range of Road Scholar programs from an Iditarod program based in Anchorage to a world-class spring bird migration program in Denali National Park.

Denali Week: Denali Week is a six-night inclusive educational opportunity targeting those who may have friends or family members working in the Denali area, although anyone is welcome to enroll!
